HiringScout started with a simple frustration: recruiters we admired were drowning in unqualified applications while the candidates they actually wanted were falling through the cracks. We decided to fix the infrastructure, not hire more people to manage the mess.

The hiring process is broken in both directions. Candidates submit hundreds of applications into what feels like a void. Recruiters spend 80% of their time on work that should be automated — screening, scheduling, initial calls — and only 20% on actual human judgment.
